back when GP ruled the roost in as far as
the acropolis was concerned, i told several
friends of mine about HB.
they came, they saw, they posted

some didn't post, rather, remained the
countless few that found HB intimidating.
(for some reason)

since the announcement of the acropolis
as contestant to the board of the month...
AND since i feel that this board needs
the freakin help...
i've spent my time sending the word out
to those people.

today i'm announcing my official
"HELP SHATZY AND BECOME AQUAINTED WITH HB" party.

that's right, folks.
i've emailed and called...
i've managed to suffer through the BS
small-talk that most people endure when
talking to someone they ALWAYS freakin
talk to...
just to get their asses here and witness
HB... plus vote for my board.

now don't get excited.

these people are more familiar with the
utterings of the GP hem-haw. but i have
no doubt that these fellow buds of mine
can (and will) see that normal forums
are just as good.

my message:

THE DOOR IS OPEN. BRING YOUR ASS HERE.

i am hoping that with a little bit of
persuasion, they will lurk a bit.

since some live further away, i have some
fear that those contacted through email
will do no more than to pacify my wishes
and come to HB from their comfortable distance.

i have called to the troops.

i find it only fair that since i post on
their stupid boards and list-servs that
they can simply return the favor (those
rat bastards).

to add insult to injury, i'll also make it
known right here that i am refusing to post
on their boards/list-serv until the contest
is completed.

now i know that you guys that i am talking
about will ream me for this. perhaps you
could say that i owe you one...
